Healthcare Cards
NewGuard Plastic Cards, LLC offers three primary types of cards for the healthcare field: Graphic Quality, Super Stress and Utility Stress Cards.
Graphic Quality Cards (Non-Stress:) are used for thermal imaging/printing.
Our graphic quality cards are manufactured with the highest quality material that provides an exceptional surface for your printing applications. Examples include photo id cards, driver’s licenses, & gift cards.
Super Stress Cards (Stress White):
Super Stress Cards are used for embossing and printing. Super Stress Cards are laminated with a stress overlay material that causes the embossed lettering to be highly visible to the human eye.
This card is the right choice for non-printed applications like embossing and imprinting, but also an appropriate choice for printed applications where easy readability is desired, like certain hospitals or government environments.
Utility Stress Cards (Stress White) are for embossing purposes only. Utility Stress Cards contains a stressing compound that is embedded in the core sheets during the calendaring process. This card is ideal for embossing and imprinting hospital identification cards, trade show cards, and other non-printed applications. We offer CR80 and CR50 card sizes, .024 mil & .030 mil thicknesses plus various color options for each type of card. Please contact us for any additional information.
